About our Services
We sell testing services to customers and work with other organisations to deliver these services. We also work with certain other third parties who may provide you with products or services directly, even if you book their products and services through our website.
We will indicate on our website where services or products are provided by third parties and provide information about such third parties. In such case, the contract for the provision of products or services you receive will be between you and that third party.
We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the acts and omissions of any such third party provider. Your rights to cancel, refund and change any services requested that are provided by a third party will be governed by the contract between you and the third party provider.
You have an obligation with all services to maintain your personal information and medical information where applicable, and to provide information fully and honestly. We use this information to provide the medical services we offer, and incomplete, incorrect or falsified information could lead to a risk to your health and wellbeing or to delays in receiving the service purchased.
Liverpool Weight Loss Clinic
Our service is provided in partnership with independent prescribers, who are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) where appropriate, and we work with GPhC regulated pharmacies to provide any prescription related medication where appropriate.
You must be between 18 and 75 years of age to use this service.
Our service can only be provided to patients resident in the UK. We cannot issue medication outside of this area, and we reserve the right to cancel submissions if you are located outside the UK or if you have provided us with a forwarding address.
You will need to complete a medical questionnaire to assess your suitability for our prescription based medication services, as well as your preference for treatment options if available. It is important that this questionnaire is completed by you and for your personal treatment only, and that you answer fully and honestly at each stage. The information given will be used by our clinical to assess your suitability for treatment, and incorrect or false information could risk your health and wellbeing.
You will be required to submit a photo of ID, along with providing your full legal name, date of birth and address, to ensure that we can verify your identity is genuine and that you are resident at a UK address. If we cannot validate your identity, we may contact you to seek clarification. We reserve the right to cancel your submission if we cannot verify your identity.
As part of your submission, we will take initial payment for your first course of treatment, and set up a 4 weekly recurring subscription for an initial period of 12 months.
A member of our clinical team will review your responses and assess your suitability for treatment. We may contact you via email for additional information if necessary. If you fail to respond to a request for more information, we may reject your request for a treatment.
We aim to process your request within 24 hours.
If we decide that your selected treatment is not suitable for you, we will reject your prescription and you will be notified via email. You will also be informed of the reasons for this rejection. If your treatment request is rejected, a refund for any monies paid will be processed and subscription cancelled. This may take up to 5 working days to arrive back on your account, and is dependent on your financial institution.
If we determine you are suitable for treatment, a prescription will be issued in your name. You will be charged for this prescription and your first prescription delivery will be passed on to our partner pharmacy.
You can cancel your order for prescription treatment up until the point it has been approved by a clinician.
Please note that professional codes of conduct and legal restrictions may limit the quantity and frequency of any product we and/or our partner pharmacy are permitted to supply to you.
Any change in your health, medical conditions, or side effects need to be reported to us as soon as you are aware of them. It is important we have up to date information to assess your suitability for your treatment ongoing.
We may need to contact you to validate your ongoing suitability for your prescription, or if amendments are required as part of the treatment plan e.g. increase in dosage. If you do not respond in a timely manner, our clinicians will not be able to continue prescribing your treatment.
We reserve the right to cancel your subscription and not supply you with any further medication or products if you notify us of any significant side effects or adverse change in your medical condition, and we shall cancel your subscription if you inform us that you do not wish to receive further medication.
Payments will be made 48 hours before the dispatch of your next set of medication based on your prescription. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so by contacting us at customer.service@medicspot.co.uk.
If the product, including medical products, is damaged or defective, or the wrong treatment has been sent please let us know and we will either replace the product, or refund you the amount paid by you for the product in question.
Please note that refunds can only be issued for medication that has not yet been dispensed. Once dispensed, prescription only medication can not be refunded.
We use registered delivery carriers in order to provide the best delivery service possible. Your delivery will be posted through the letterbox when possible and does not normally require a signature. It is your responsibility to ensure that nobody else can access the products delivered to you. Therefore, please be very careful if children or animals form part of your household.
There may be instances where your delivery is delayed due to circumstances out of our control. We cannot assume responsibility for these delays, but we will do everything we can to ensure that the best service is provided to you.
If your delivery has been delayed by more than 7 days, please contact us and we will issue a redelivery for your product/s free of charge.
You are responsible for checking that the medicine is the correct medicine prescribed by us and that such medicine is not damaged in any way. Do not consume any medicine which is not the medicine prescribed or which is damaged on arrival. Instead you should contact us and we shall resupply or refund you as set out above.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.
If any of these Terms are found by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
